Thank you for choosing to learn with me. Please take a moment to read through the terms below.
Workshops & Courses
A booking is confirmed once you've completed the booking form, payment has cleared, and you've accepted these terms. I reserve the right to decline a booking at my discretion. Each workshop listing includes the date, location, and what to expect. Your confirmation email is delivered digitally and serves as your ticket.
Cancellation details are outlined in my Refund & Cancellation Policy. Some workshops involve physical activity — please take care and participate within your own comfort and ability.
Payment Terms
Full payment is required at the time of booking. Educational institutions booking on behalf of a client have 36 calendar days from invoice submission to pay, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Late payment may incur statutory interest, or interest at 4% over the Lloyds Bank plc base rate (compounded monthly), plus a £50 handling charge. Non-payment may result in the booking being cancelled.
If I Need to Cancel a Course
Courses are, by their nature, exposed to conditions outside my control — extreme weather, for example. I also require a minimum of 6 participants for a UK course and 8 for a course abroad to run it. If I cancel for either reason, you'll receive a full refund.
Client Conduct & Safety
I may ask a participant to leave a course without refund in cases of intoxication, drug use, abusive behaviour, or where someone is physically or mentally unable to safely participate. Unauthorised fires are not permitted, and use of sharp tools is restricted to instruction and supervision.
Liability & Insurance
I carry £5,000,000 public liability insurance. I'm responsible for injury caused by my own negligence, but you accept that accidents — including serious injury — can occur during hands-on courses through no fault of mine, and I'd recommend you carry your own personal insurance. I'm not responsible for loss of personal property, or for injuries caused to or by other attendees.
Online Courses & Digital Access
Access to online courses is granted immediately after purchase, for your personal use only. Your login is personal and not to be shared. All videos, images, written materials, and downloads are protected by copyright — please don't reproduce, copy, or redistribute them. You'll need a stable internet connection and a modern browser to access your course.
Photography & Video
By attending a course, you consent to my use of photos or video taken during it in my promotional materials.
Payments
Payments can be made by card, PayPal, or Klarna (availability varies by course and location). If you choose Klarna, their own terms and privacy policy apply — see my Payments & Delivery page for details.
Complaints
If something isn't right, please raise it with me during the course itself, or within 28 days afterward.
